The annual Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy is an Oceania Rugby age grade qualification tournament which provides a pathway to the annual World Rugby U20 Trophy. The current Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy Champions is Samoa who claimed the title during the 2020 Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy in Apia.

History

The Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy was introduced in 2015 along with the Oceania Rugby U20 Championship as key regional high performance competition pathways for age grade teams.

Teams from across the region are eligible to participate, excluding teams already qualified to the World Rugby U20 Championship.

The Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy was first hosted by Fiji Rugby Union. Fiji won the 2018 World Rugby U20 Trophy and have since been promoted to the World Rugby U20 Championship.

This saw Samoa Rugby Union host Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy since 2018.

Teams that have featured in the Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy since its inception include: Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu. 

The Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy is traditionally held during November - December each year.
